Are you getting ready for your summer holidays in Greece? Being born and raised in Rhodes, I really love my island!
For the last 7 years I made my dream come true and running L&C, a boutique apartments hotel in Kremasti. (According to our guest reviews we are one of the best hotels in Rhodes ! ). Kremasti beach is popular for its great sunsets and also as kite surfing spot.
It is such a pleasure to welcome guests from all over the world and give them tips on what to do when in Rhodes. So, I thought to share some tips for your summer vacation in Rhodes. Let’s start!
The whole old town of Rhodes is really interesting and worth exploring, with many unique shops, cafes and restaurants on Socratous Street.
I truly recommend visiting the Grand Magister castle in Rhodes’ old town. It can get crowded during the day though, so it’s best to go early in the morning. You can enter through the Gate d’ Amboise. As a building both externally and internally, the Grand Magister is very impressive.
One attraction you can’t miss on your day trip is Kalithea Springs. I really love this place! It was once a spa, now a beach bar. If you’re feeling hungry after a dive in the magnificent waters of this gulf, don’t hesitate to try the food here. They have a café and restaurant, so you can try their pizza or burger.
Also exciting are Seven Springs, so make sure you stop by there too!
Drip your feet in some chilly water at the springs and feel it coming straight out of the rocks. There’s also an amazing tunnel there that’s worth checking out!
Enjoy it!
